Hygge Blue Chalet

Hygge Blue Chalet is a three-level mountain cabin in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee — on the quiet west side of town, minutes from Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Gatlinburg. “Hygge” (hue-guh) is Danish for cozy, charming, and special, and the chalet earns the name. Great Smoky Mountains National Park is 15 minutes by car; Gatlinburg is 20. Take the Wears Valley bypass through Townsend to skip the traffic entirely.

The cabin is in a private, peaceful natural setting and has gigabit Wi-Fi — it works well for remote work between hikes.

The space

✔ Level 1 — Open kitchen, dining, and living area flows out to a front balcony. Bluetooth speaker and smart TV on this level. Half bath and laundry closet with washer and dryer. The fireplace is electric. A game room at the front of the house has a pull-out double sofa bed with memory foam mattress, a gaming table, and a Roku TV; French doors close it off for privacy.

✔ Level 2 — Two full bedroom suites, each with its own bathroom. Bedroom 1 has a king bed and a private balcony with two rocking chairs. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, a sunroom, and two twin beds.

✔ Back Deck — 6-person hot tub, smoke-free propane fire pit, party lights, Adirondack chairs, and a picnic table. Faces the trees.
